A little about me...

First things first...I love genealogy! Anyone who knows me knows not to bring up this subject because I could simply talk about it forever. Family history was an integral part of my upbringing which I never realized how uncommon that was until I started researching my friend's family trees.

I started with my own family tree about 15 years ago and an obsession was born. I have also worked diligently on my husband's family and that of my sister's husband as well. Over the last year, I have started to visit local historical societies to see what more I can learn about my ancestors.

I finally decided that I wanted to start helping my friends to discover their family history by sourcing their family trees which has evolved into Allison Genealogy.
